Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵNurse Practitioner
The Prince of Wales Campus Health Clinic is open for students from any Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵlocation. The nurse practitioner is available to see students by appointment for non-emergency medical services such as sexual health counselling and screening, pregnancy testing and support, mental health management, referrals, prescriptions, and assessment of injuries. Students from any Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵlocation are welcome to book into the Charlottetown Centre Clinic.

Women’s Wellness Program & Sexual Health Services
provides reproductive and sexual health care to Islanders of all genders, orientations and ages at various sites across PEI. To access safe, confidential and supportive services, call 1-844-365-8258 (toll-free). Sexual health services include sexual health education and counselling; sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment; birth control counselling and prescriptions; pregnancy counselling, testing and support; and abortion services (medical abortion and surgical abortion).
Women’s Clinic
Dr. Christine Hoffman, 24 Linden Ave, Charlottetown, offers a part-time Women’s Clinic which is primarily for young women who need contraception, paps or gynecology advice. No referral is needed. Patients can call and book their own appointments at 902-367-3285.
PEI Pap Screening Clinic
Cervical cancer screening is done by a Pap test. A Pap test is a procedure that removes a small sample of cells from the cervix. These cells are examined under a microscope and monitored for any abnormal changes
The current Pap screening guidelines in PEI recommend women should have a Pap test every three years if they are 25-65 years of age and have been sexually active.
To access pap screening:
- Call your family physician or nurse practitioner to set up an appointment; or
- Submit an online to the provincial Cervical Cancer Screening Service; or
