This rotation explores the following careers: Conservation Officer, Conservation Technician, Marine Power Engineer, Coast Guard, Police, Paramedic and Firefighter. Through tours of related facilities, small business tours and guest speakers, students gain a broad understanding of exciting careers in public service and the environment. Other engaging activities in this rotation include Survival 101, Hunter Safety Course, Hot topic environmental documentaries and Drone Flight Training
This rotation focuses on all the trade opportunities offered through Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵthrough mainly “hands on” experience. Programs covered include Plumbing, Electrical, Wind Turbine, Welding, HVAC and Automotive
This rotation varies in experiences based on student interests and availability of community contacts. The goal of this rotation is to expose students to many of the health-related programs offered at our Prince of Wales campus as well as the hospitality-related programs at our Tourism and Culinary Centre. Students can expect to explore careers related to the customer service and tourism industry such as working in restaurants, hotels and the travel industry. They will also explore food preparation techniques. This rotation also focuses on careers involving healthcare such as Early Childhood Education, Licensed Practical Nursing and Resident Care Worker, Human Services, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, and Kinesiology.
