Get your computer networking technology diploma


The Computer Networking Technology program will teach you how to ensure an organization’s IT runs smoothly and securely. You will learn how to implement new infrastructure and ensure that all computers, servers, and other devices are networked effectively. 

Courses include Network and Information Security, Web Technologies, Network Analysis and Design, and Virtualization. You will have the opportunity to explore pathways to various certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate, A+, Linux+, Security+ and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist.

The Computer Networking Technology program is a CTAB (Canadian Technology Accreditation Board) nationally accredited program at the technologist level.

National program accreditation involves an independent team of certified professionals performing an extensive audit, which provides graduates and employers confidence the program meets the educational standards of Canada’s engineering technology and applied science profession.

Graduating from a nationally accredited program creates an expedited path to becoming a certified professional with provincial certifying bodies in Canada.

Students gain skills to manage enterprise networks. They are introduced to network management tools and learn key concepts of software-defined networking, including controller-based architectures and how application programming interfaces (APIs) enable network automation.
