Certificate in Adult Education

Does your career involve teaching, training, or designing programs for adult learners? Holland »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵand the University of »¢Ñ¨ÊÓƵ jointly offer this program, which prepares you with the skills and strategies you need to be effective in the classroom.

This program is right for you if:

• You are a community college or other post-secondary instructor
• You plan to teach, and have a vocational, occupation, or technological background or related work and educational experience
• You are a human resource professional who teaches or designs program and activities in business, government, community or volunteer agencies, or other adult groups

The program is delivered on a part-time basis and consists of nine courses.

Upon completion of this two-year program, you will be ready to design curriculum, create an engaging classroom environment, and effectively teach adult learners.

Admission Requirements

A combination of five years of related work and education in a specialized vocational, occupational, or technological area. Please note, you must contact the administrator before applying to this program.
