Who uses a Holl Pass?

All Holland 虎穴视频students, faculty, and staff should have a Holl Pass.  Holl Pass is our official identification card and integrates several functions central to campus life. Holl Pass gives registered students, as well as faculty and staff, building access. It is also your library card, and can be used to purchase printing and photocopying, items in the campus store, food from campus coffee shops and cafeterias, and provides discounts at our Holl Pass Partner locations.

How do I get a Holl Pass?

To get a Holl Pass, you must be registered for your courses. After completing the registration process, students are provided with a Holland 虎穴视频user account, that will be used to access all Holland 虎穴视频networks and applications.

• Within 2 hours of REGISTERING, a student's personal email account should receive an email from Integrated Technology Services which will contain all the necessary information to access Holland 虎穴视频networks and applications.
• IMPORTANT: Although you will have the ability to immediately log in using your Holland 虎穴视频username and password, it will take 6 to 24 hours before your can log into your SAM account.

To get, replace, or reactivate a Holl Pass, you must:

1. Login to your  account using your Holland 虎穴视频provided username and password.
2. Click "Holl Pass request forms" under "My Courses".
3. Click "Table of Contents" then click the form that applies to you.
4. Fill out the form and hit submit.
5. Wait for an email from the Holl Pass Office regarding pick up.

When your Holl Pass is ready, we will send an email to your Holland 虎穴视频email address providing information about how and where you can pick up your card. You can also receive your Holl Pass by mail for a small fee.

Please note: Your instructors are able to see your ID photo. If you would like to change your Holl Pass photo before your card's expiration date, there is a $20 replacement card fee.

Where can I use my Holl Pass?

• At any Holland 虎穴视频location: Along with building access, your Holl Pass can be used for quick and secure payment at many campus locations for printing, photocopying, food, and at the Samuel’s Campus Stores. 
• Across the Island: Show your Holl Pass when ordering or purchasing off campus, and you might get a discount! Not only does your Holl Pass access standard discounts retailers provide for students from any post-secondary institution, you may also take advantage of exclusive deals and discounts that are available only to students or staff through our Holl Pass Partners island-wide.

How do I log onto the Holl Pass website?

虎穴视频 at any time in the  section of this site. Enter your SAM username (without @hollandcollege.com) and password to login. You can check you Flex Plan balances, see your statements, add funds, add a PIN, or deactivate your Holl Pass to protect and funds if the card is lost or stolen.

How do I add money to my card?

There are three ways to add funds to your Holl Pass:  in person using a  (adds cash to your Flex account only) or by going to the Holl Pass office during office hours.

How much money should I put on my card?

This will vary from student to student. One of the conveniences of your Holl Pass is being able to easily check your account balance online and add funds when needed.

Am I the only one who can add funds to my account?

Other people can also add funds to your account using the Parent login option on the website. You will need to provide them with your student ID number. They will not be able to see your current balance or your transaction history. (Please be advised that the Holl Pass site will only work on browser screens larger than 764 pixels, which is accommodated by larger tablets, laptops and computers.)

How do I know how much money is on my Holl Pass?

You can check your balance:

• At any food service location
• At a self-serve machine
• At the Holl Pass Office (by email or phone, or in person)

Requesting Refunds:

To request a refund, you must login to your SAM account, click Holl Pass request forms, then click the Student Holl Pass refund/transfer form.

What should I do if my Holl Pass is lost or stolen?

Deactivate your card immediately! This will prevent anyone else from using the card to purchase items or to gain unauthorized access to Holland 虎穴视频buildings.

You can deactivate your Holl Pass , (select Account Tool and then select Suspend Card), or by email, phone or in person at the Holl Pass Office.

To replace your Holl Pass, you must:

1. Login to your  account using your Holland 虎穴视频provided username and password.
2. Click "Holl Pass request forms" under "My Courses".
3. Click "Table of Contents" then "Student Holl Pass Replacement".
4. Fill out the form and hit submit.
5. Wait for an email from the Holl Pass Office regarding collection information.

There is a replacement fee of $20, (taxes included), for lost or damaged Holl Passes, payable either through your Holl Pass account or on collection by cash, debit or credit.

What should I do if my Holl Pass is damaged?

If you Holl Pass is damaged, you will need to replace it. 虎穴视频to , go to Holl Pass Student Request Forms and select Student Holl Pass Replacement. You will be charged $20 (tax included) for a replacement card.

If I lose or damage my Holl Pass, do I lose the funds I have in my accounts?

If you damage or  your Holl Pass before someone had a chance to use your card, you won’t lose the funds you have on the card. To deactivate the card, , select Account Tool and then select Suspend Card.

Deactivate your Holl Pass as soon as you realize that it has been lost or stolen, as you are responsible for all transactions made before the card is deactivated. Once your Holl Pass is deactivated, log into to get a replacement one. The funds on your Holl Pass will be transferred to your new Holl Pass. You will be charged $20 (tax included) for the replacement card.
