Description
An introduction to curriculum in Early Childhood Education settings. Students are exposed to curriculum structures, approaches, and frameworks of learning through play. Students create teaching tools and develop their own spirit of playful learning.

These credits can be applied to the Early Childhood Care and Education diploma. As well, these credits meet one third of the requirements for Early Childhood Intern recognition with the PEI Child Care Facilities Board.

Notes:
This course will be delivered online with no face-to-face classes. Synchronous classes will be held on Tuesdays and and asynchronous learning is scheduled on Thursdays. There will be additional asynchronous hours required in addition to the Tuesday and Thursday schedule.
