This three-day course offers law enforcement professionals an essential introduction to Active Threat incidents, serving as foundational training for those encountering such situations. Participants will delve into historical data to understand the evolution of law enforcement responses and gain practical knowledge in identifying when an Active Threat Encounter arises. Throughout the course, members will explore the diverse roles and responsibilities assigned during an Active Threat encounter. They will undergo comprehensive training in movements, formations, and tactics aimed at effectively mitigating risks in such situations.
Furthermore, participants will engage in a series of controlled scenarios utilizing simmunition to induce stress responses. This hands-on approach will allow them to apply their learned tactics in real-time, effectively neutralizing threats as they navigate through various simulated scenarios.
